Mega Media is a multimedia corporation involved in nearly every facet of audio production. The prime area on which the company focuses is its popular rhythmic top 40 radio station, Pulse 87.7FM. Serving the New York Tri-State area, Pulse 87 has millions of listeners who tune in on a daily basis. With Pulse 87 running smoothly, it is easy to forget the individuals behind the scenes who are making the day-to-day decisions that are keeping this ship afloat.
President and COO David Kokakis has been involved with the company since February of 2006. Mr. Kokakis’ expansive knowledge of the recording industry goes hand in hand with his entrepreneurial spirit and experience as an entertainment attorney. For six years he practiced law, representing several top names in rock and urban music such as Godsmack, Lil’ Bow-Wow, and Three 6 Mafia. David plays a key role in Mega Media’s subsidiary, Skeleton Key Entertainment.
Gennady Pomeranets (CPA) joined the ranks at the same time as his aforementioned colleague, in February of 2006. He currently serves as Chief Financial Officer for the group. Mr. Pomeranets, prior to coming to work for Mega Media, held a post as managing director of a prominent New York area public accounting firm. His experience as a CPA has thoroughly familiarized him with both the entertainment and fashion industries.
Executive Vice President of Mega Media’s radio division, Timothy Joseph is a name readily recognized by many people, especially in the hip-hop community. Mr. Joseph was one of the publishers responsible for “Around the Wa Connections” from 1993 to 1997, as well as authoring the well-known “Reality Check” column in The Source magazine from 1995 to 1998. He worked for several stations prior to arriving at Pulse 87.
Overall, Mega Media Group boasts a board of directors with decades of collective experience in the entertainment and recording industries. Without these people, Mega Media Group might not have been built into the impressive empire it is today.
