International Stock Targets: Burst.com Inc. (BRST.PK) Added to Small Cap Watch List

This week International Stock Targets announced a “Strong Buy” rating for Burst.com Inc. This stock has been in the news recently after settling a $10 million patent infringement lawsuit with Apple Computer (AAPL). On January 8th 2007, the company announced that it is currently in a similar suit with Real Networks in the Northern California courts system.

Founded in 1988, Burst.com has pioneered in the development of Faster-Than-Real-Time video and audio delivery. Burst.com has built an international patent portfolio covering burst-mode, audio and video delivery scheduling, rapid casting and DVR functionality. As of September 30, 2007 the company boosted an incredible balance sheet with an astounding current ratio of 91.01 with nearly $3 million in working capital.

In a notice to Shareholders sent out on January 3rd of 2008, Burst.com announced it will realize the gains from the Apple Computer settlement in 2008. After the approximate $3.5 million in legal expenses are deducted, the Board of Directors has announced that it will consider the possibility of a dividend payment at some point in 2008. The company holds many patents, is well positioned in the market, and with the rapid expansion of HD audio and video internationally, the company has much room for expansion in the realm of digital video recorders.
