INFRAX Systems, Inc. issued a press release today announcing that they are making the management of communications infrastructure easier and more cost effective through their new OptiCon Software as a Service (SaaS) program. The major advantage to this new program is that it is a hosted application, either through INFRAX Systems or with a certified INFRAX Systems partner. By creating this application in this manner, the customer will not have the up-front expenses necessary to develop their infrastructure, saving them time and money. OptiCon On-Line delivers a complete version of INFRAX’s flagship OptiCon Network Manager™ directly to a client via a secure Internet portal.
For a monthly fee, the customer will receive full data backup of information, all required licensing (which is available from 1 to over 1,000 users) and all necessary software updates. In addition to these features, customers will also have the ability to generate revenue streams through co-branded or private labeled solutions.
Paul J. Aiello, CEO of INFRAX Systems, was quoted in the press release as saying: “INFRAX has always been committed to providing our customers with flexible, scalable, cost effective solutions and the addition of the On-Line version of the OptiCon Network Manager™ platform, is a logical next step.”
The OptiCon Online program is not yet available as INFRAX is investigating hosting providers currently. Their targeted launch date for this program is in June of this year.
IFXY is a stock with 142 million shares issued and outstanding, but less than 19 million in the float. It closed on Thursday at .016 with 184,000 shares traded.
