Infrastructure Developments Corp. (IDVC) Signs a Memorandum of Understanding with Alternative Energy Solutions

Today, Infrastructure Developments Corp. announced that it has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Alternative Energy Solutions (AES) to assist in developing, constructing and managing a Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) distribution plan for parts of the Southeastern United States. AES is developing a model for CNG distribution for deployment and has partnered with IDVC to assist in the development and execution of the project.

Thomas R. Morgan, Infrastructure CEO, remarked, “We are excited about this new relationship as we expand our operations into US markets. Developing new ‘green technologies’ and implementing environmentally-friendly concepts are extremely important to IDVC as we work towards more ecologically sound solutions for the US. This represents a unique opportunity for us to be on the forefront of CNG infrastructure development in the US and elsewhere.”

As a transportation fuel, the clean-burning nature and abundant domestic supply of CNG’s is causing its popularity to rise. Many state governments are exploring plans to transition from gasoline to CNG fuels and resources have been dedicated to the development of efficient CNG delivery systems. Additionally, tax credits for clean fuels, including natural gas, are gaining in popularity.

The US has approximately 2.55 trillion cubic feet of natural gas — a domestic supply projected to last 117 years. Many states have initiated programs to convert petrol-based fleets to natural gas, including public transportation. Efficient delivery systems of CNG for these fleets must be developed to insure convenient refueling and the ultimate success of CNG as a viable fuel option.

AES President, Webster Hanchey, commented, “Our modeling and systems development in the alternative fuels sector, especially in the CNG market, is a perfect fit for a company like Infrastructure. Their knowledge and expertise, outstanding public reputation and insightful guidance will assure both companies’ continued success in providing solutions to the public and private transportation sectors, protecting our environment, and increasing US energy security.”
