Headquartered in Salt Lake City, Utah, Infrastructure Developments Corp. is a project management and engineering firm. The Company’s primary operations are conducted through subsidiary Intelspec International, Inc. in the Middle East, Africa, Asia, and Oceania. Infrastructure Developments’ mission is to bring world-class execution to the international construction and project management industry.
The Company’s Intelspec subsidiary fills an underserved niche in the global project spectrum. They focus on specialized projects and subcontracts that are too small to attract the attention of the giant multinational firms but which still require world-class engineering expertise.
Intelspec owns Intelspec International LLC. They are a Thai registered foreign branch that manages projects in Southeast Asia from a business office and 5-acre lay down yard in Chonburi, Thailand.
Intelspec also owns 100 percent of Power Track Projects FZE. They are a United Arab Emirates registered Free Zone Enterprise licensed for project and equipment management in the UAE and currently manages projects for the government of the Emirate of Ras al Khaimah and for private clients in the UAE.
Intelspec’s projects include construction of a new two-storey barracks, dining hall, kitchen facility, parking lots, perimeter fence, driveway, sidewalk system, and complete site utilities for the Joint Interagency Task Force West – US PACOM (JIATF-w) in conjunction with the Indonesia National Narcotics Board. The project is located in Jakarta, Republic of Indonesia, and the contract was awarded in September 2010.
Projects also included construction of seven new barracks, wash facilities, food preparation, and dining facilities, along with the repair of existing, and construction of additional roads, sidewalks, wells, lighting and electrical distribution, for the U.S. Navy’s GPOI Training Facilities, Kampong Spoe, Cambodia. The project completed in April 2010.
Another project included the construction of a Close Quarters Battle (CQB) Training Facility, Camp Erawan, Thailand. The project consisted of the construction for the U.S. Navy of a two-story shoot house for military training. The project completed January 21, 2010.
Projects also include construction management of a 14-villa upscale private residential compound in Jom Tien, Thailand; construction of the access road right of way for the Al Jais Mountain Resort; and management of construction of a 50,000 square foot office/warehouse in Jebel Ali Free Zone, Dubai UAE.
Last week, Infrastructure Developments Corp. announced that Intelspec International, Inc. will expand their U.S. military construction projects focus to the United States. To date Intelspec has limited their U.S. military project management to Southeast Asia. Intelspec International’s domestic operations will primarily center on Department of Defense approved advanced military training facilities. Currently, Intelspec is managing the construction of a U.S. military training facility in Indonesia and has project management prospects in Southern Africa, Southeast Asia, and elsewhere.
Mr. Thomas R. Morgan, CEO of Infrastructure Developments Corp., said, “Specialized training facilities which replicate the changing landscape of military operations are keystone to a proper military training environment. Intelspec has a proven track record in designing and building training facilities for the Department of Defense, as demonstrated by the successful completion of projects like the Combat Training Center in Thailand and the Global Peace Operations Initiative training facility in Cambodia. We will be able to provide the same experience and expertise to the design-build arena in the United States as we do overseas.”
