Imaging Diagnostic Systems, Inc., a medical technology company engaged primarily in the research, development and marketing of a non-invasive breast imaging system, recently announced that the company has retained the services of Karsten Damgaard-Iversen as senior business management consultant.
With more than 30 years experience in the medical imaging industry and a strong track record in global business and product development, Mr. Damgaard-Iversen collaborated in the development of other laser based medical technologies where he has contributed as an inventor (U.S. Patent 5,009,658) and a scientific publication co-author. He holds an MBA from Emory University and a BSc in electronic engineering from Copenhagen University College.
In his new role, Mr. Damgaard-Iversen will collaborate with the company’s chief executive officer, Linda Grable, to advance and execute Imaging Diagnostic Systems’ U.S. and European business development plan. He will also assist in the launch of new technology initiatives in the field of laser fluorescence imaging, and the completion of the company’s Pre-Market Approval (PMA) submission to the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA).
Mr. Damgaard-Iversen recently stated, “I am delighted to be given the privilege of providing leadership and business development guidance to a company with such an obvious and worthwhile mission to fulfill.”
