Imaging Diagnostic Systems (IMDS) Sells CT Laser Mammography System to China-based Imaging Center

Imaging Diagnostic Systems Inc. is the developer of a new laser optical breast imaging system designed to assist in the non-invasive, painless detection and management of breast cancer. The company’s CT Laser Mammography (CTLM®) system utilizes patented continuous wave technology and computer algorithms to create 3D images of the breast and is designed to be used in conjunction with mammography.

The company today announced that it has sold a CTLM system to a private imaging center near Hangzhou, China, with shipping of the system slated for the first week of January 2012. The sale was obtained through a recently assigned exclusive distributor, ID-Matrix of China.

The sale represents the company’s progress toward increasing its presence and product recognition in the healthcare industry.

“Selling a CTLM system in this important emerging market will only further accelerate our goal of it becoming a commonly used method for breast imaging throughout this area. The imaging center will serve as a reference site for future customers in addition to routine patient examinations. We wish our new distributor ID-Matrix continued success as they build the brand CT Laser Mammography,” Linda Grable, CEO Imaging Diagnostic Systems stated in the press release.
