A hydrogen fuel injection system has been developed by Hydrogen Hybrid Technologies Inc. (OTCBB: HYHY) and the Canadian Hydrogen Energy Company. Initial field trials have now been completed for the car and light truck after-market.
Consumers are in search of cheaper, more environmentally beneficial fuel solutions, a HYHY news release points out, specifically with high-consumption consumer vehicles such as SUVs and light trucks. HFI units are currently widely used in city buses, and long-haul truck and other commercial vehicles and equipment.
The Canadian Hydrogen Energy Company is the world’s largest retail distribution network for any hydrogen product, with more than 140 certified installation centers in Canada, the United States, and a number of international markets. HYHY’s product is the first emission control technology to have received Environmental Technology Verification by the Canadian government and the first hydrogen technology to receive ETV recognition anywhere in the world.
