Warner Music Group and Atlantic recording artist James Blunt were presented with the environmentally-friendly, all-electric cars. Lyor Cohen, Chairman and CEO of U.S. Recorded Music for WMG and James Blunt are on of the first private users of the advanced all-lithium cars produced by Hybrid Technologies.
The Director of Development for Hybrid Technologies, Richard Griffiths, stated that the company has chosen the CEO of Warner Music Group to be one of the first recipients of a smart car because he can represent a new generation of leaders working to address climate change.
The Atlantic recording artist, James Blunt, will be instrumental in showing the public the benefits of being ecologically responsible in their everyday lives. The company believes that over time their Smart Cars will have a meaningful impact on the environment as more and more consumers choose to drive Hybrid Technologies’ vehicles.
