Hybrid Technologies, Inc. (HYBT.OB), an emerging leader in the development and marketing of lithium-powered products, announced that the company has entered into an agreement with Sam’s Club. The nationwide retailer will be launching Hybrid’s all lithium Smart Car to the media and public in Miami, Florida on Oct 30. The Smart Car package will formally go on sale at 12:00 pm on Nov. 8 at samsclub.com
Sam’s Club’s is offering their members the opportunity to purchase Once-in-a-Lifetime holiday packages. One of the packages being offered is a 2007 Hybrid Technologies’ lithium-powered Smart Car. Additionally, this package will include a VIP trip to the Kennedy Space Center for an exclusive chance to watch a shuttle launch.
“We’re offering the fully electric Smart Car to Sam’s Club members as it represents the latest in advanced lithium technology. This vehicle, originally developed under a Space Act Agreement with NASA, has created a strong following throughout environmental, celebrity and automotive circles. This Limited Edition STS-118 Smart Car will be the perfect addition for car collectors or environmentalists wanting to make a difference by driving a zero-emissions vehicle,” said Richard Griffiths, Strategic Relations for Hybrid Technologies.
