HWI Global, Inc. (HWIC) Hybrid Ultra-Green Clean Room Lighting System Surpasses Expectations in First Test

Yesterday after the closing bell, HWI Global, Inc., the Pittsburgh-based clean room design builder, announced that its Joint Venture partner, Enigma Concepts, has completed first phase testing of HWI’s extreme efficiency Ultra-Green Clean Room lighting system. Brighter than existing conventional lighting, the low temperature, environmentally friendly, high efficiency LED solution is expected to reduce eye strain, power consumption, and radiant heat in clean room environments. The long-life LED lighting system is expected to be a cleaner, more efficient, and offer better quality light than even the most advanced CFL and T-S fluorescents.

Deric Haddad, HWI Global CEO, stated, “The first round of testing of our hybrid Ultra-Green Clean Room lighting system has yielded such positive results that both companies are eager to move forward with a final prototype. Since announcing on June 3rd the joint venture and letter of intent with Enigma Concepts, all preliminary evaluations suggest that it will meet predetermined goals. Having actually exceeded several of the fundamentals originally set forth, there’s no reason to think that we can’t design, develop, and manufacture a Ultra-Green Clean Room lighting system that will produce notable savings to the end user.”

In addition to its patent-pending C3 SmartRoom Information Management Solution and Bio-Gard Modular Wall & Ceiling System, the Ultra-Green Clean Room lighting system is one of many OEM lines that HWI Global has recently launched.

G. Erik McMillan, Enigma Concepts CEO, commented, “The second test-bed fixture is presently under construction; the next phase of analysis will begin in two weeks. It will determine the thermal effectiveness of the final light structure’s future development. The current HWI Global fixture has several attributes making it ideal for ‘Clean Room’ applications in its form and functionality. At this point in time, there are no apparent issues in accomplishing all our goals. Our desire is to continually and consistently develop the most efficient and effective lighting system we can create for HWI Global.”
