Heartland BanCorp’s (HLAN.OB) Heartland Bank Announces Launch of iPhone App

Heartland BancCorp is a registered Ohio bank holding company and the parent of Heartland Bank. Yesterday, G. Scott McComb, President and CEO of Heartland Bank, announced the launch of the iPhone App with Heartland Bank’s Mobile Banking. Heartland Bank online banking customers can access their account information via SMS Texting, Web Browsing, or with the Heartland Mobile Banking App from the Apple Store.

Through Heartland’s Mobile Banking solutions, online customers can access their accounts on the go. If one’s mobile device has SMS Texting capabilities and/or internet access, they can use the convenience of Heartland Mobile Banking anytime. SMS Texting allows customers to receive their account details (this includes balances and more) in the form of a text message.

Online banking customers, using the Web Browser function on their mobile device, can view their balances, transfer funds, and more. In addition, iPhone, iPod Touch, and iPad users can download the free Heartland Bank Mobile Banking App. They can do this by visiting the Apple Store or heartlandbank.com/mobile.

McComb stated, “To kick off our 100 year anniversary, we introduce the Heartland Mobile Banking iPhone app, as well as a complete mobile solution – regardless of what phone and carrier you use. Heartland Bank is more accessible now than ever; community banking and technology collide!”
