HealthSport Announces Dr. C.T. Moorman as Sports Advisory Council Chairman Duke Physician to lead council of athletes, trainers, and medical professionals

HealthSport, Inc. (OTCBB: HSPO), announced the appointment of Duke University’s C.T. Moorman, M.D. as the Chairman of the newly formed Enlyten™ Sports Advisory Council. HealthSport, a publicly traded company under the ticker symbol HSPO, is a fully integrated developer, manufacturer and marketer of branded nutritional supplements in a one-of-a-kind edible film strip delivery system. Dr. Moorman is the Director of the Duke Sports Medicine Center, Head Team Physician for Duke University Athletics, and Associate Professor of Orthopaedic Surgery.

“I am honored to chair the Enlyten Sports Advisory Council as I believe Enlyten’s delivery technology will be a great help to athletes at all levels. We have been able to assemble an exceptional team of talented and knowledgeable experts committed to promoting performance and safety. I am excited to be a part of this team,” said Dr. Moorman who has previously served as the Director of Sports Medicine at the University of Maryland Medical Center and was the Head Team Physician for the NFL’s Baltimore Ravens.

The Sports Advisory Council was formed by HealthSport to help in the research and development of electrolyte strips currently being produced by the Company. The Council will advise and inform HealthSport of all matters pertaining to the importance of hydration and electrolyte replenishment to the athlete during and after training and competition. The individuals named to the Sports Advisory Council provides a unique point of view and will offer opportunities to create awareness of proper hydration to ensure that all athletes maximize their workouts and performance.

HealthSport’s marquee product, Enlyten SportStrips™, is a new and unique edible film strip delivery system that replaces the electrolytes lost during vigorous workouts through a patented delivery system. This mode of absorption is very different from all electrolyte delivery predecessors. When placed between the cheek and gum, gastric absorption is bypassed speeding higher levels of electrolytes directly into the bloodstream. Not only does it dramatically improve hydration on a cellular level, but it also helps athletes to avoid the problems caused by excessive fluid consumption which is often associated with sports drinks.

“We have drafted an elite team of experts and athletes to help our Company better understand what an athlete goes through that may result in dehydration and the negative consequences resulting from dehydration. The Sports Advisory Council is comprised of professionals who are committed to a healthy lifestyle and want to educate others about the importance of electrolyte replenishment,” said Dan Kelly, President of HealthSport. “We have an opportunity to educate athletes and help improve their training and their health. We truly believe in the members of this Council and we know they will bring the best ideas and most important issues to the table.”

Sports Advisory members include Hall of Fame Quarterback Jim Kelly, Miami Dolphins’ Defensive End and NFL Defensive Player of the Year Jason Taylor, US Soccer star Brandi Chastain, Buffalo Bills Quarterback JP Losman, Marathon Runner Peter Gilmore, and Duke Medical Research Associate Anthony Seaber. The Company intends to continue to add athletes, trainers, coaches, and researchers to the Sports Advisory Council over the next few months.
