Green Innovations is excited to announce that its wholly-owned subsidiary, Green Hygienics, Inc., has introduced a line of 100% tree-free, bamboo-based products under their highly popular Clearly Herbal® and Sensational® brands. The bamboo products include products such as paper towels, bath tissue, facial tissue, and copy paper.
“Bamboo is becoming a popular alternative to trees due to its sustainability, affordability and global availability,” stated CEO of Green Innovations, Philip Rundle. “Kimberly-Clark announced last fall that they are projecting a significant change to bamboo-based products by 2025. We are introducing our line in 2013!”
Green Hygienic’s current company initiative is to bring 100% tree-free bamboo-based tissue products to the US market, a market currently valued at an estimated $21.6 billion. The Company has approximately $1.4 million in products now being manufactured to become available in September of 2013.
This bamboo-based product line will complement the company’s virgin paper and recycled paper products currently already in stores throughout the US. As of today, Green Hygienics’ revenue for 2013 totals $1.1 million. Currently, the company has purchase orders on deck for approximately $320,000. Green Hygienics is also finalizing potential purchase orders with several large retail chains for its virgin paper products and Clearly Herbal® baby wipes, which will be announced upon confirmation.
