Global Resource was recently recognized by the United States Department of Energy as a company that could make hundreds of years of oil available. The company’s technology utilizes a high-frequency microwave to extract hydrocarbons (the building blocks of oil and gas) from tires, dredge, plastics, coal, oil shale, capped oil wells, tar sands, slurry oil and drill cuttings. The hydrocarbons can then be converted into clean gas or liquid diesel fuel.
