Global Resource was recognized by the United States Department of Energy in June as a company that has the potential to make hundreds of years of oil available. The company’s patent pending technology produces energy in an economical and environmentally friendly way when applied to various natural and synthetic materials.
Global Resource’s technology has been proven in laboratory conditions. The technology applies high frequency microwaves to shale, tar sands, residual oil, coal, and other resources, to heat and gasify hydrocarbons. The process is performed in a closed-loop vacuum which does not emit harmful pollutants, unlike other petroleum production processes.
