Global Resource’s patent pending process has the ability to remove oil and alternative petroleum products from shale deposits, tar sands, waste oil streams and other such resources with greater efficiency then existing technologies.
The company’s process utilizes microwave radiation to extract the oil and petroleum, and has the potential to dramatically reduce the cost for oil and gas recovery. The technology can also extract oil from depleted oil fields, many of which still contain more then half of their original hydrocarbons.
The process collects byproduct gases and heat exchanges, and then converts them into oil and gases which do not convert back to liquids. Global Resource’s Chromatograph demonstrates that the products may not require additional refining.
The company’s business strategy is to develop and license its patented process to others in the industry. It is currently negotiating with several major companies to commercialize its technology.
