Global Resource Corp. (GBRC.PK) Awarded Popular Science’s “Best of What’s New” Award

Global Resource announced this morning that it has been received Popular Science magazine’s “Best of What’s New” Award in the Green Tech division for developing the HAWK 10 recycler, which has the ability to produce more energy than it consumes from solid waste materials. Popular Science also named Frank Pringle, the CEO of Global Resource, an “innovator of the Year” in the Green Tech division for successfully bringing the environmentally-friendly HAWK 10 technology to the market.

Mr. Pringle stated, “We’re thankful that the editors of Popular Science chose to recognize our HAWK 10 as one of the year’s breakthrough technologies, citing its potential to help America find new sources of energy, and reduce our dependence on foreign oil. This is the latest in a string of honors we’ve received from major publications, including Time magazine, which awarded the HAWK 10 as one of the top ‘Inventions of the Year.”

The CEO also mentioned that in July of 2007, the U.S. Department of Energy profiled Global Resource and its microwave technology for oil shale recovery as a resource for making the United States energy independent. The fact that it was selected as one of only twenty seven companies, some of which are Fortune 100 enterprises, adds additional credibility to Global Resource’s capabilities for energy recovery.
