Global Resource Corporation (GBRC.PK) announced today that they recently added and filled two new positions on their Board of Directors. On September 20, 2007, the Board of Directors expanded the size of the Board to five members, creating two vacancies, to comply with regulations in anticipation of applying for listing on the American Stock Exchange. The existing Board elected two new members, Kim Thorne O’Brien and Jonathan L. Simon, accepted the appointment on September 21, 2007.
The new board members build the framework for Global Resource’s move into the commercialization stage of the company and will add start-up and recycling experience to provide direction in early stage commercialization of energy production technology . Having entered the recycling industry with the sale of its first HAWK energy conversion unit, the company is also in advanced discussions with interests in the petrochemical industry.
