Scrap Magazine, a bi-monthly magazine covering news in the recycling industry, featured Global Resource’s HAWK 10 and energy conversion technology in the July-August issue. In fact, Global Resource was Scrap Magazine’s cover story.
The reporter, Theodore Fischer, profiled the New Jersey-based company in an article titled “ASR Alchemy,” which described Global Resource’s innovative technology and how recyclers worldwide can use it to generate revenue from the materials they are recycling.
The company’s HAWK 10 eliminates recycling costs and environmental hazards by breaking down autofluff with its patent-pending microwave technology. The entire process takes place in a closed-loop system which uses part of the gas and oil generated to fuel the next round of material breakdown.
The CEO of Global Resource, Frank Pringle, stated, “Scrap Magazine is recognizing our process as the cutting-edge technology that will help North America, and the world, make ASR valuable. We can help recyclers like Gershow Recycling, our first customer, generate more revenue from the materials they have been paying to send to landfills.”
