This sugarcane to ethanol producer based out of Peru is ready to become the leading low cost producer of Ethanol in the World. They intend to do this with an experienced team of executives with vast experience in the Agricultural and Energy sectors. Their CEO Carlos Antonio Salas has served as Secretary of Agriculture to Peru and believes that Stratos is perfectly positioned for exponential growth in what he calls the Perfect Storm for Ethanol demand. Mr. Salas, CEO and Director, has evaluated and guided over 100 medium to large businesses within the food and agriculture sector. He was also appointed Director General of the National Institute for Agricultural Research by the president of Peru. In addition to this he has served on more than ten different international agriculture boards and committees and has experience in over 15 countries located in Africa, Europe, and South America.
Bringing energy industry experience to the company is President and Director Luis Humberto Goyzueta who serves on the boards of Inter Pacific Oil and Oil Tec S.A.C. Mr. Goyzueta also serves as president of two Peruvian mining companies and CEO of Pure Bio-Fuels a leading South American BioDiesel. Stratos is pleased with the vast amount of Peruvian natural resource knowledge he brings to the company.
The companies Logistics are Managed by the Chief Operating Manager Jorge Eduardo Aza who has over 10 years of supply chain management experience. He has managed and developed a number of mining logistics projects as well as holding financial positions with a number of international logistics companies. They believe his experience will be advantageously applied to the management of the companies complex supply chain.
Julio Caesar Alonso, the company’s Chief Financial Officer and Treasurer, was previously a Senior Financial auditor for PriceWaterhouseCoopers and has lead audits on companies such as: Nextel del Peru, Grupo Backus, Grupo Graña y Montero, Grupo Quimica Suiza, IBM del Peru, Kraft Foods del Perú, Eckerd Peru and Talma Menzies, and international companies such as Rentokil US Pest Control and Teleflex Corp. Before this he also had experience in multiple logistics companies.
Gustavo Goyzueta, the Secretary, serves as the Chief Financial Officer of Pure Bio-Fuels and has many years of experience conducting investment analysis, negotiating contract terms and coordinating treasury functions as well as capital budgeting
Stratos Renewables is a Peruvian based sugarcane ethanol producer. It is their belief that they can produce the highest yields at the lowest cost worldwide within the northern coast of Peru. They are currently completing an expansion on their existing facility and have initiated a multi phase growth strategy to become the leader of ethanol production in Peru.
