President and co-founder Luigi Caramico has more than 20 years of experience in the telecommunications industry. He is the co-founder of Systeam, serving as its president and CEO; creator of the Retentia DRS product suite and assisted in the design of massive volume filing indexing; designer of products for interactive digital broadcast TV and DVD archiving; and co-founder of Studio Sistemi Grafici srl, a computer graphics company that focuses on televised soccer games, Italian TV programs and a joint product with Microsoft for its Interactive TV Platform at Stream SpA. He has also served as chief technology officer, president and chief executive officer for various technology startups. Caramico holds several patents and is member of IEEE and the New York Academy of Sciences.
Mario Mene serves as Intelligentias chief technology officer, backed by extensive experience in developing technology products and the design of digital TV systems. Mene is a designer of DVD authoring systems of digital television services for Stream, Italy’s second largest pay-TV operator. The CFO participated in the creation of the Conditional Access System for digital television and holds a degree in electrical engineering from the University of Rome.
Board member Royston Hoggarth previously served in various management positions in telecom, wireless and technology companies. He was CEO of International for Logica PLC, CEO for Cable & Wireless PLC; has held several senior management positions with IBM; currently serves as managing director of Strategic Capital Ltd.; chairman of IPSL Ltd.; chairman of ANT PLC; and venture partner of Wellington Partners Venture Capital.
Board member Danilo Cacciamatta has been CEO of Cacciamatta Accountancy Corp. for nearly 20 years. He was previously employed by KPMG Peat Marwick; director of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the California Society of Certified Public Accountants; and holds a bachelor of arts from Pomona College and an MBA from the University of California at Riverside.
