EPiC Energy Resources, Inc (EPOC.OB) announced that the company has appointed Michael E. Kinney to serve as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer, effective February 11, 2008. Previously, Mr. Kinney has provided financial consulting services to EPiC, serving as a vital link for corporate success.
Currently, Mr. Kinney has over 25 years of business experience in the realm of accounting, information technology, audit, and Sarbanes-Oxley compliance. Prior to joining EPiC, Mr. Kinney led the Corporate Governance team of Accretive Solutions, a financial consulting firm. From 2003 to 2005, Kinney was the Internal Audit Director for Stewart & Stevenson, Inc., a major manufacturer of tactical vehicles for the federal government. Mr. Kinney has CPA, CMA, CISA and CIA licenses and obtained an MBA in Finance & Information Technology from Dallas Baptist University and a BBA in Accounting from the University of Texas at Arlington.
