Epazz, Inc. (EPAZ.OB) Reports Revenues Up 95% Year Over Year

Epazz, Inc. issued a press release today to disclose year over year revenues for the company. 2009 was a challenging economic year for many companies and yet Epazz nearly doubled their revenues as compared to 2008. Operating expenses for Epazz were also reduced nearly 9% for 2009 as compared to 2008.

Epazz, an industry leader focused on office productivity workforce solutions, has been very quiet with respect to press releases this year, but is developing their business plan and marketing their existing products to small to mid-size companies. Epazz primarily targets potential customers of companies with 250 – 2,500 employees and small to medium size colleges with 1,000 – 10,000 students. The increase in revenues in 2009 is attributed to the Epazz’s acquisition of DeskFlex and Professional Resource Management in June of 2008 and also their Agent Power lines. The DeskFlex software allows businesses to make use of office space restrictions by enabling employees to access their workstation tools from various areas in and outside of the office. The Agent Power software offers information and tools for call centers.

Chief Executive Officer of Epazz, Shaun Passley, was quoted in the press release as saying, “We are moving in the right direction. Our growth strategy is beginning to payoff. We are working toward expanding the company worldwide. We are working toward adding additional product lines. As the economy recovers Epazz is in a position to grow.”

Epazz, based in Chicago, IL, also offers BoxesOS v3.0, a Web infrastructure operating system, which provides a customizable personal information system to students, faculty, alumni, employees, and clients. Not all of Epazz’s customers are small. A few of the many customers that are using Epazz technologies include Eastman Kodak, General Motors and Coca-Cola.

EPAZ is seeing a strong spike in volume today with over nearly 2 million shares traded in the first two hours of the market trading day.
