VARBusiness, a 20 year old technology industry resource leader, and its magazine VARBusiness Magazine, has released its annual list of North America’s top 500 technology integrators. Included among the list for the 14th year is Emtec, Inc.
Established in 1964, Emtec is an information technology company providing services and products to the federal, state, local, education and commercial markets. Areas of specific practices include enterprise architecture, data management, data center infrastructure, and consulting and integration services.
The VARBusiness 500 ranking is based on 2007 gross worldwide revenue of hardware and software sales, as well as earnings from professional and managed information technology (IT) services. The VARBusiness team reviewed the financial performance of hundreds of public and private large IT solution providers, system integrators, and IT consultants and services companies in North America. Applications are vetted and cross-checked against multiple independent sources, including SEC Filings, Hoovers and Selectory.
