Elleipsis Inc. (Pink Sheets: EGTS) operates through its wholly-owned subsidiary, Elleipsis Inc. to provide travel booking and Web services for the booming travel industry. The company today announced it has teamed up with online cruise travel agency, AllAboard Cruises, to power its cruise reservation system. Per the agreement, Elleipsis will be responsible for backend reservations and booking transactions for AllAboard’s online travel agency.
Elleipsis has developed TravelTalk Portal, a Web-based travel platform used to book automated reservations for travel suppliers. The booking engine supports multiple global distribution systems, consolidator and net fares to provide a custom-branded interface that will support AllAboard’s travel agents in better managing reservations for discount cruise packages through the company’s Web site.
“Our cruise booking solution enables AllAboard Cruises to focus on growing their business, instead of developing complex technology,” Diane Byman, president of Elleipsis stated in the press release. “With TravelTalk Portal’s access to cruise suppliers and their inventory, AllAboard Cruises will be able to offer remarkable packages and prices.”
Utilizing TravelTalk, travel agents can access various cruise lines and display the results in one central location, allowing clients to make the best-informed decision based on cruise inventory. Clients, such as AllAbaord can sell different cruise lines within their own branded Web site, enhancing promotional and marketing efforts.
