Niche social network for entrepreneurs, EFactor announced that its next anticipated live event, “Pitch it in Person,” will feature beloved SHARK TANK panelist Kevin Harrington. In addition to its educational seminar, EFactor has put together a contest that awards entrepreneurs the opportunity to present their business concepts for the chance to win a cash prize of $2,500.
The event will take place on October 8, 2013, from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm at AlleyNYC in New York City. The event is currently open for registration on www.efactor.com up until the start of the event. Entrepreneurs were encouraged to submit cohesive executive summaries to EFactor for initial consideration by Thursday, October 3rd, 2013. Five summaries were selected as finalists to pitch their concepts to Kevin Harrington, TV infomercial mogul and former SHARK TANK panelist, who will ultimately judge each pitch and award a winner.
“We expected a good turn-out for this event and have registered more than 100 participants for the event next week. We also believe that the final round of five entrepreneurs selected for the judged review is sure to produce an excellent competition for the cash reward,” stated CEO of EFactor Corporation, Adrie Reinders. “Events like these provide our social network of entrepreneurs with the approaches, skills and tools to conduct what all entrepreneurs need to grow their business. In this particular case, this is one activity that all entrepreneurs need to do on occasion: to understand how to attract and retain investors.”
