ECOtality announced this morning that it has appointed Raghu Ram as the Vice President of Finance. Mr. Ram will be in charge of internal financial administration and reporting, as well as work closely with the Company’s Chief Financial Officer and the Chief Executive Officer.
Jonathan Read, President & CEO of ECOtality, stated, “As we actively acquire new companies and synergistic technologies, ECOtality will segment the financials of our wholly owned subsidiaries to provide financial accountability and visibility of each ECOtality company. While ECOtality continues to expand our operations, it is important we have an intelligent, adaptive and experienced core management team and are pleased to welcome Mr. Ram to the ECOtality family.”
He continued to say, “Mr. Ram, with significant global experience in business process improvements, internal controls and external financial reporting will play an integral role in assisting and streamlining ECOtality’s transition from a single technology development company to a revenue-generating diversified renewable energy corporation.”
The new Vice President of Finance is a Cost and Management Accountant, a Certified Public Accountant and a Certified Management Accountant with over 15 years of experience in financial services. Previously, he served KPMG as manager of the Audit and Risk Advisory Services Practices. He also brings international experience as he has worked in other countries in addition to the United States.
