Ecosphere Energy Services, LLC (ESPH.OB) Announces New Water Recycling Contract

Located in Stuart, Florida, Ecosphere Energy Services (EES) is a diversified water engineering and environmental services company that provides technologies for use in large-scale and sustainable industries across the nation. Today, EES announced that they signed a contract extension with WACCW, LLC, which is a wholly owned subsidiary of the Newfield Exploration Mid-Continent, Inc.

The contract with EES is to provide Newfield Exploration’s “Ozonix” process to recycle water fracturing fluids in the Woodford Shale. EES and Newfield Exploration have been working together in Oklahoma since 2008 and have pioneered the use of the Ecosphere Ozonix to eliminate chemicals used in recycling fracturing fluids in shale plays.

One of the leaders at EES is Aaron Horn who serves as the company’s President. When asked what this new water recycling contract will mean to the future of EES, Horn was quoted as saying, “Newfield Exploration is at the forefront of energy companies that have found a way to cost effectively recycle water without the use of chemicals. By using the Ecosphere Ozonix System services, Newfield is able to reuse the flowback and produced water from its drilling operations and save money while using environmentally friendly technology. The Ecosphere Ozonix process improves the quality of flowback and produced fluid for use on fracturing operations without the use of chemicals. The Ecosphere Ozonix process is a patented process that reduces the possibility for adverse operational conditions caused by scale, corrosion, bacteria fouling and plugging. It has been a pleasure working with the Newfield team. We look forward to continuing our work with them.”

Currently, EES is trading in the $0.58 range. With this breaking news and a strong management team in place, Ecosphere Energy Services is a company investors will want to keep an eye on.
