eBenefits announced that its subsidiary, L.A. Marketing Plans, LLC, recently launched a new Call Center in the Dominican Republic, which will market and sell the RightHealth programs to consumers throughout the United States. The new call center will also reach out to the Hispanic market by using its developed marketing strategies and advertising campaign.
In 1998, Nearly one-third of all Hispanics and one-fifth of all African-Americans in the United States had no health insurance, compared with 12.2% of Caucasians. The total number of Americans without health insurance was 42.3 million, or 15.8% of the population
Randy Schleger, President of eBenefits Direct, stated, “We are extremely excited to be able to provide a variety of affordable medical discount services and programs to the Hispanic community. It is almost impossible for many Hispanics to purchase any kind of healthcare. We want to provide lower-cost, comprehensive programs where the consumer can save money on such things as doctor visits, hospital and dental care.”
He concluded, “We are extremely excited to be able to market these products through our international call center location. We believe this is the first step in attracting the Hispanic consumers, and we anticipate a significant amount of sales in such states as Texas and Arizona.”
