Solar EnerTech Corp. (SOEN) has methodically built every building block of the Company, from the ground up.
Early on, the Company understood clearly that solar panel manufacturing success, starts with a reliable raw material source of silicon. To that end, SOEN was invited last year by the government of Inner Mongolia to discuss a cooperative arrangement for the processing and development of locally mined solar grade silicon.
A silicon sample was collected and returned from the region, and upon analysis was shown to be a very high grade. That visit led later to a Memorandum of Understanding. The MOU outlined a potential joint venture by SOEN to acquire a 15% interest in a silicon processing operation in Inner Mongolia; coupled with the guarantee of a secure, reliable, and cost effective supply of solar grade silicon feedstock.
This type of Research and Due Diligence, bodes well, and provides a glimpse into the mindset of the management at Solar EnerTech Corp. (SOEN).
