Nighthawk Systems (OTCBB: NIHK) shares are up 1 cent, nearly 7 percent, to 11 cents this morning, moving on volume of 2.8 million. The leading provider of wireless power management and emergency notification solutions announced it has received an order for CEO700. The purchase order marks the largest single order of CEO700, which gives electric utilities the ability to connect and reconnect power to residential electric meters, on a moment’s notice, from a remote location.
Shares of Brainstorm Cell Therapeutics (OTCBB: BCLI) are on the rise, climbing 16 cents, or 16 percent, to $1.15 in early Tuesday trading. The company announced today that Dr. Jacob Frenkel, and Harvey Krueger will now sit as members of the company’s Advisory Board. Brainstorm is an early stage company focused on developing adult stem cell technologies and therapeutics.
Gammacan International Inc. (OTCBB: GCAN) shares are up 6 cents, nearly 12 percent, to 57 cents this morning, moving on word the company has received Orphan Drug designation by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) for its anti-cancer immunotherapy, VitiGam. The designation will allow GammaCan exclusive marketing rights for VitiGam for up to seven years. During the seven years the FDA will not accept or approve similar applications from other sponsors.
Shares of CardioDynamics International (Nasdaq: CDIC) climbed 7 cents, nearly 19 percent, to 49 cents this morning, moving on the announcement the two contractors for the Centers for the Medicare and Medicaid Services have altered coverage policies to expand coverage of ICG for patients with high blood pressure, or hypertension. The contractors are also providing coverage in Mississippi, Alabama, Georgia and South Carolina.
