GoldMountain Exploration (GMEX.OB) and its partner, West Timmins Mining Inc. (WTM.TO), announced that recently completed Phase 1 drill programs on the Yoquivo Silver-Gold Project in Mexico have yielded a number of silver-gold bearing vein zones.
One of the site’s drill holes uncovered 2.08 g/t gold and 345 g/t silver. Another similar drill hole uncovered 2.66 g/t gold and 267 g/t silver. Eight holes totalling 2,474 metres were completed during the Phase 1 drill program. Both of these pertinent zones will be targeted in a future Phase 2 drill program.
The Yoquivo Project covers the Yoquivo Mining District, which is located 40 kilometres southeast of Agnico-Eagle’s Pinos Altos silver-gold development project, and near the Sierra Madre Gold-Silver Belt.
