Daulton Capital Corp., a natural resource finance company specializing in gold and other minerals, as well as oil and gas, continues to track activity in claims close to its properties in the Klondike Gold region of the Yukon. Recently they noted a significant gold discovery by Northern Tiger Resources near Daulton’s Hunker property (Crown Jewel Claim). The discovery listed 14.8 g/t gold over 10.9 meters, and included a concentration of 145.2 g/t gold over 1.05 meters. In addition, other nearby mines (Tintina) revealed 1.00457 million ounces gold at a gold grade of 3.2 grams per ton in an open pit resource at the Golden Saddle deposit in the White Gold Project.
The Hunker Project consists of 121 Yukon Quartz Mining Claims located in the Dawson Mining District, Yukon Territory, Canada. The Crown Jewel claim block (Hunker Project) is located in the heart of the famous Klondike Placer Gold District. About 15 miles south of Dawson City, it covers much of the upper drainages of Hunker Creek, one of the top five most productive placer gold creeks in the entire Klondike gold district.
In addition to the Hunker Project, Daulton is also working on the Balarat Project, consisting of 38 Yukon Quartz Mining Claims located in the Dawson Mining District, Yukon Territory, Canada. The claim block is situated 3 miles southeast of Underworld Resources, Black Fox Property. The claim block covers 1,900 acres and straddles Balarat Creek, one of the main placer gold producing placer creeks in the Thistle Area (White Gold District).
