Cyclone Power Technologies (CYPW.PK) and The Engine of Tomorrow

Discovering new engines to replace traditional diesel and gasoline engines are presently on the forefront of new technology. This alternative needs to be highly efficient and have the ability to reduce the amount of emissions omitted into the earth’s atmosphere.Cyclone Power Technologies (Pink Sheets: CYPW) CEO, Harry Schoell, has created the Schoell Cycle Cyclone Heat Regenerative External Combustion Engine. This engine has the ability to run on a multiple different fuel sources like alcohol, kerosene, biodiesel, and hydrogen, besides the normal diesel and gas choices.

The 6 cylinder Mark V Cyclone requires no starter motor, external radiator, muffler, or even a transmission, and since this is a clean engine it also does not require a catalytic system or smog pumps. The engine temperatures don’t run high enough to generate alot of carbon monoxide, no nitrous oxide, and releases only a minimal amount of emissions. The engine doesn’t require any oil and you can mix several fuels together at once and it will still run at full capacity.

Wilson McQueen, vice president of marketing, stated, “this engine has what everyone has been looking for, it will help release us from foreign oil dependency as well as clean the environment that we live in.”

Last year, the Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE) awarded the Cyclone engine the Innovation of the Year award. After the event, Cyclone Power quickly patented this technology. According to McQueen this engine is the only one of its kind that is suited to pass the Tier 3 and 4 compliances set in place by the government effective in 2010.

Cyclone Power plans on licensing out the technology to auto manufacturers around the globe because the worldwide need to reduce the amount of emissions emitted. The plan is to start small with lawn mowers and eventually move into the auto industry. The Cyclone engine could conceivably one day replace gasoline and diesel engines.

The company’s stock price has gained about 20 percent today, or 20 cents, to $1.25. Since July 5th the share price has increased a dollar when it was at its low of 25 cents.

Cyclone Power is on the cutting edge of the latest technology in emission reducing engines. Just like in “Back to the Future 2”, Dr. Brown shows up in his flying car and dumps all kinds of items into the engine of his car and tells Marty that this was the way of the future. Cyclone Power Technologies engine has brought that dream into reality with their ability to mix and match different fuel types to efficiently run the engines.
