SkyPostal Networks Incorporated is one of the leading private mail networks in the Latin America – Caribbean region. Thanks to a recently signed strategic marketing agreement with DHL global mail, SkyPostal has now expanded its services into Europe. This move creates a lot of potential new-market share for SkyPostal, since an estimated 35% of US international mail is bound for Europe.
On the heels of the announcement of the agreement with DHL, the French government announced earlier this week that they are openly considering partial postal privatization. The privatization of La Poste could raise an estimated $2-3 billion euros for the French. The privatization would also mark a drastic reversal of the country’s longstanding attitude toward postal policies.
The stunning French announcement couldn’t have come at a better time for SkyPostal, as the company plans to grow revenues and earnings by expanding its service area and capacity. Plans to move into Europe are already underway for SkyPostal, and with the help of DHL it can now market its services through Europe. SkyPostal will continue to use its expertise in handling commercial mail, periodicals and parcel post for its new European expansion. It will also offer many of the same services unique to Latin American customers, such as hand-delivered, GPS-based tracking.
