Compress Technologies and Verdes Monte Bello announced negotiations to test Compress Technologies’ revolutionary FM-SCA technology. If everything goes as planned, Verdes Monte Bellow will deploy the technology throughout their network of FM stations located in Guatemala, Panama, Nicaragua, Costa Rico, Salvador, Honduras and Belize.
The company believes this will be one of several licensing agreements in the future. The revolutionary FM-SCA technology allows multiple digital channels to be transmitted alongside conventional analog signals, allowing up to 50 digital channels broadcast in the unused space left behind by analog stations.
