Command Center Inc. (CCNI.OB) Reports January Revenue of $4.3 Million

Command Center Inc. provides temporary, on-demand, dependable and cost-effective employment solutions to businesses in the United States. The company mainly serves customers in the following sectors: light industrial, hospitality and event services. Its customers can meet their needs with just a simple phone call, avoiding administrative hassles.

The company today announced revenue of $4.3 million for the month of January. This compares to revenue of just $3.48 million recorded in the comparable year-ago period. For comparison, there were 51 company-owned stores at the beginning of 2011, compared with 50 stores at the beginning of 2010.

This is positive news for Command Center since January is historically the company’s slowest month due to major holiday periods and poor winter weather. Command Center believes January revenues are a sign for what lies ahead in 2011. The company anticipates a further expansion of its revenue streams and profitability due to both organic growth and acquisitions during the year.

The CEO of Command Center, Glenn Welstad, believes the changes occurring in the US economy are a tailwind helping his company. He says that the trend has been for more and more companies to hire “permanent temp workers” as part of their overall labor solutions. Mr. Welstad said, “Command Center is well-positioned to accommodate their needs at the local level and, if needed, on a national scale.”
