Yesterday, Clear Skies Solar, Inc. announced that their subsidiary, Carbon 612, has been awarded a patent for a “Non-intrusive Electric A/C sensor”, with the brand name of Clear Coil. The device was developed while Carbon 612 was developing their XTRAX device.
Launched in 2005, Clear Skies Solar is focused on providing renewable energy to commercial, industrial and agricultural customers in the United States. The company has developed proprietary systems and acquired different technologies to facilitate its expanse in the renewable energy sector.
Clear Skies claims that the Clear Coil sensor minimizes installation times of hardware for solar energy solutions. Where normal installation takes several hours, Clear Coil can reduce installation time to minutes, cutting costs in the process. The Clear Coil electrical sensor replaces other devices in tasks such as electrical billing and measuring consumption or production of electricity to smart-home applications. Clear Skies also claims that the device is more accurate than other types of similar sensors.
Clear Skies maintains that with the Clear Coil, their XTRAX monitoring device will stay competitive in the industry as the lowest cost solution available.
