China Wireless Communications, Inc. (CWLC.OB) Awarded Additional Business with Tianjin University

China Wireless Communications, Inc. (CWLC.OB) has announced that the company has been selected by Tianjin University to upgrade its servers and campus wide network.

Tianjin Create Electronic Information Technology Co, China Wireless’ wholly owned subsidiary, will provide IBM Blade Servers, network software, support for network PCs, and other supporting services for Tianjin University. These leading networking applications would ultimately lead to a better student network as each becomes utilized in the upcoming months.

Pedro E. Racelis III, President & CEO of China Wireless, Inc, stated, “This is an important step in our continued support of the University’s required technology solutions and services to benefit the students and faculty.”

Tianjin University has a working staff of over 4,600 persons, including: 342 professors, 662 associate professors, 12 academicians, and 23 specially engaged professors. The total student population consists of 19,000 young adults and 5,000 doctoral and Master’s students. Over the past years, 100,000 students have graduated from Tianjin University, with many more students expected to graduate each year in the near future.
