The single biggest boost to worker productivity, and ultimately worker prosperity and nation building, was the advent of long distance communication. Since the year 2000, China and very recently India, has accounted for some 30% of global economic growth. Never before in the history of man, has an area become as economically important as quickly as Southeast Asia has.
