China Voice Holding Corporation (CHVC.OB), a provider of Voice over Internet Protocol (“VoIP”) telephone services, office automation, wireless broadband, unified messaging, video conferencing, mobility services and other advanced voice and data services in China, recently announced the appointment of Rafael M. Zambrano as the company’s chief technology officer. In this new role, Mr. Zambrano’s will manage the company’s Chinese installations with China Netcom, China’s number two broadband communications and fixed-line telecommunications operator.
Mr. Zambrano brings more than 19 years of experience in senior-level international project management, engineering, product development and strategic business development in the telecommunications industry. China Voice Holding Corporation will leverage Mr. Zambrano’s extensive Internet telephony expertise to facilitate training sessions with China Netcom, which will enable nationwide implementation of the company’s multiple government contracts.
In addition, Mr. Zambrano’s main priorities will be to commence the company’s agreement with China Netcom, which was originally announced in November 2007, and deploy China Voice Holding’s Internet telephony services to the masses. The company is currently installing contracts with the Chinese government, which consist of over 103,000 telephony seats valued at more than $37 million in annual revenue.
