Carbon Green Inc. announced that they have identified Southern Ontario, Canada as the focus for phase one of the North American rollout of their full-scale tire recycling plants. The Company made the announcement while attending this past weekend’s Formula 1 Canadian Grand Prix in Montreal, Quebec.
Mr. John Novak, President and CEO of Carbon Green Inc. stated, “We are thrilled to be in Montreal with our partner Virgin Racing, to witness the return of Formula 1 to Canada and Virgin’s inaugural race on Canadian soil. We have identified Canada as a world leader with very high standards of environmental practices which fits with our expansion plans for our unique proprietary technology that 100% recycles used tires into high grade commodities including Carbon Green™ (a virgin carbon black substitute) which is the key component required for new tire manufacturing with zero waste and zero emissions. We are therefore pleased to announce that we have chosen the southern Ontario region as the first location to launch our standardized plant roll-out in North America.”
Carbon Green Inc. is a tire recycling company with the ability to profitably recycle 100 percent of used tires back into valuable end products which can be employed in tire manufacturing. The Company’s Limasol, Cyprus facility is the world’s largest pyrolysis plant recycling tires that meets all of the European Union’s criteria. This plant will process 8,000 tonnes per year, approximately 800,000 tires.
Carbon Green Inc. is now ready to roll out their production facilities across North America. They are working with major partners to establish three more Company owned production facilities in North America. Their goal is to bring production capacity up to over 145,000 tonnes of tires by the end of 2014.
