Car Charging Group, a nationwide provider of electric vehicle (EV) charging services, is expanding its EV charging solutions in California by establishing a new partnership with Parking Concepts, Inc., a parking garage operator that provides advanced parking solutions to more than 200 garages scattered across the United States.
Per the agreement, CCGI now provides EV charging services at One Concord in Concord, Calif., a property strategically located adjacent to the Concord BART station, which provides transportation to Daly City and the San Francisco International Airport.
“As the electric car market continues to expand, especially in the Northern California area, we believe that it is also imperative to expand EV charging locations,” Michael D. Farkas, CEO of CCGI stated via news release. “We are pleased that Parking Concepts supports these initiatives and joins other business leaders in increasing access to EV charging stations.”
The EV charging services at One Concord Center will provide 240 volts with 32 amps of power to quickly recharge an electric vehicle’s battery. EV drivers can request CCGI’s evCharge card online to initiate use and payment of the stations at these locations. If preferred, CCGI’s EV charging stations accept direct payment via credit card. The evCharge card also allows drivers to use charging locations on the cloud-based ChargePoint® Network, a portal connecting EV drivers to EV charging stations.
