This afternoon, CanAm announced it has been notified that the title transfer for the Wheeler Beckett Claims is now complete. The property is 24 miles south east of the McArthur River and Cigar Lake Mines which have a proven reserve of over 600 million pounds of uranium.
Ryan Gibson, CEO of CanAm, states that the transfer will put CanAm on the map in the Athabasca Basin. The Saskatchew government and Third Party Map designers can now put the CanAm name right beside International Uranium Corp., CanAlaska, Cameco and JNR Resources Inc.
In order to prepare for the Wheeler Beckett Summer Work Program, CanAm is reviewing historical satellite geochemical and radiometric/gravity surveys. The current information strongly supports the company’s decision to work the land. The summer program will include high resolution heliborne EM and radiometrics, which will be supported by a field survey and sampling program.
