(OTCBB: BWIH) operating as Budget Waste Inc. is proud to announce that it has been awarded a Certificate of Recognition (COR) to acknowledge its compliance with health and safety standards established by the Alberta Ministry of Employment and Immigration. BWI was granted the COR following a two-year comprehensive evaluation by an independent external auditor, on which the company received a mark of 95%.

The COR recognizes that our health and safety management system meets the standards of the Partnerships in Health and Safety Program. A health and safety management system is a process put in place to minimize the incidence of injury and illness to workers involved in company operations. This is accomplished through identifying, assessing and controlling risks to workers in all workplace operations. Effective health and safety management systems can reduce injuries, and eliminating the social and financial effects of injuries can strengthen business success.
A COR is issued by a recognized Certifying Partner, and co-signed by Alberta Employment and Immigration. Achieving and maintaining a valid COR is required for earning a financial incentive through the Partners in Injury Reduction Program. This recognition is not a one-time achievement, but an on-going process in which annual audits are conducted to ensure that a company maintains COR certification and works on a constant improvement model. Companies with COR certification are responsible organizations that place a high value on safety.
