The Broadwind Energy team made national news on September 8, 2008 when the company announced the expansion of its corporate office. Broadwind Energy’s new additions will include a new Vice President and General Counsel, a new Senior Vice President of Human Resources, a new Corporate Controller and a new Director of Compliance.
Broadwind Energy is a company that maintains its focus on wind energy development and generation. The young company restructured its corporate team by adding four new management members who are renowned in their industry.
Taking the helm as Vice President and General Counsel will be J.D. Rubin. Rubin is a graduate of Northwestern University School of Law and has been a specialist in the field of corporate and securities law. Rubin brings a wealth of experience and background to the Broadband Energy Team after a successful career with the Chicago-based law firm Barack, Ferrazzano, Kirschbaum and Nagelberg LLP.
Bob Paxton has been brought to Broadwind to serve as the Senior Vice President of Human Resources. Paxton holds an MBA from the University of Houston-Victoria and most recently served as Vice President of Global Human Resources for the Whirlpool Corporation. Paxton is a long-term veteran in the field of Human Resources and will be a major asset for Broadband Energy.
Ken Myszerkowski, C.P.A., will join the company as the new corporate controller. Myszerkowski holds an MBA from the University of Chicago and has over 20 years experience in the finance and accounting industry, and has worked for several Fortune 500 companies. Myszerkowski most recently served as the Controller at Epcor USA, which is a publicly traded company on the Toronto Stock Exchange.
Kevin Johnson, C.P.A., was named as Broadband Energy’s Director of Compliance with the responsibility for establishing, maintaining and improving business practices and processes across Broadwind’s platform of companies. Johnson previously served as Vice President of internal auditing for RR Donelley & Sons Company, a publicly traded global printing company.
The additions of Rubin, Paxton, Myszkowski and Johnson add a vast array of knowledge and experience to lead Broadwind in filling the gap in the North American energy supply chain.
