Brite-Strike Technologies, Inc. (OTC: BSTI) is a developer of advanced, high-intensity tactical LED (light-emitting diode) flashlights and personal protection products. The company was founded by two Massachusetts police officers, Glenn Bushee and Jon Neal, with the goal of providing police officers, military personnel and citizens with innovative and practical self-defense tactical products.
As the company grew, Brite-Strike reached a technology agreement with Phillips Lumileds in Malaysia to become the manufacturer of Brite-Strike® tactical lights, which consist of the patented LUXEON® LED’s and contain the latest EMP chip technology. Their Tactical Blue-Dot ™ Series are specifically made for government agencies, the military, SWAT teams, and other law enforcement agencies. The flashlights, made of milled aircraft aluminum, are significantly lighter and easier to handle. They have a unique three-sided body for an ergonomic grip, with a front “Tri-Strike crown” and rear “Tri-Strike crown” for maximum impact to pressure points and maximum weapon retention techniques.
Compared to a regular flashlight, the Brite-Strike beam is a brilliant white light with a wider spread, producing a flood effect. This allows a police officer to scan the entire field of a vehicle on a stop, illuminating the area so that they can spot weapons, drugs, or other potentially dangerous objects. The white light also has the ability to temporarily blind and disorient a subject during a hostile situation. With a quick click of the end cap switch, the light switches to a low setting for use as a normal flashlight. The end cap switch is flush, preventing accidental power switches from on to off.
Brite-Strike® currently sells their products through the Internet, international trade shows, catalogs and major retailer both on-and off-line. The company also sells to specialty law enforcement distributors and dealers. As of today, Brite-Strike has secured distribution agreements with BJ’s Wholesale Club, Frontgate, Herrington’s, Amazon.com, Lowes.com, and many others within their pipeline. The company plans to open a sales office across the pond in London, and recently received their first European order to create a worldwide presence.
