Brite Strike Tactical Illumination Products, Inc. (BSTI.PK) – Marketing Law Enforcement Technology to Women

What originally started out as a way for two Massachusetts police officers to improve upon existing tactical illumination technology has now filtered down to the personal protection arena. Brite-Strike Technologies, makers of the Blue-Dot tactical light series popular with law enforcement, have rolled out a new line of personal security flashlights which they call the Lightning Strike.

At a length of just four inches, the Lightning Strike proves that big things come in small packages. The light only requires one ‘AA’ battery to produce a blinding 65 lumens. Women can momentarily disorient potential attackers, buying themselves precious time to get away safely. Should the light fail to deter, the unit comes equipped with “strike crown” pummels on the end that can be used to break an unwanted grasp.

In addition to these measures, an ear-piercing personal alarm is included in the package, which retails for about $80, and is available through the company’s website, or in Sky Mall, FrontGate and Brookstone specialty catalogs. The Lightning Strike is a great alternative to pepper spray or stun-guns, and for women who are uncomfortable carrying a firearm.

The officers responsible for the Lightning Strike have appeared on several major networks such as Fox News, CBS, and ABC to promote the product and spread awareness for a non-profit organization known as STOP AOW (Assaults on Women). With a Lightning Strike tactical flashlight in hand, women can now walk the streets with greater confidence and peace of mind.
