Brite-Strike Tactical Illumination Products, Inc. (BSTI.PK) is making a move to become a fully reporting OTCBB company. Brite-Strike announced that it is now in the process of completing its 15C-2-11 Information and Disclosure Statement to be filed with the Pink Sheets website.
Glenn Bushee, President of Brite-Strike, stated, “Brite-Strike can reach a greater investor audience, further its strategic goals and enhance shareholder value by becoming a fully reporting company. We have the infrastructure in place to make this move, and I believe it is an important step for us to take as we begin to execute the early phase of our strategic business plan to drive growth and market reach of our unparalleled, non-lethal protection devices to an increasing number of police, military and civilians”
Brite-Strike was founded by Bushee and Jon Neal, who are police officers. The two would often patrol at night and felt the need for a better designed flashlight. The officers worked together and soon designed their first prototype. Their efforts have developed into a Brite-Strike, which is dedicated to developing and manufacturing the latest in tactical illumination tools.
The company’s Tactical Blue-Dot™ Series is being used by a number of units in the United Stated Marine Corps and the Federal Bureau of Investigation. The high-performance flashlights use the latest Philips Lumileds Luxeon® technology to produce an ultra-bright light that can temporarily disorient and impair the vision of a suspect. The unique design of the flashlights is not only shockproof and waterproof, but also incorporates defensive crowns on both ends that provide the user with maximum impact during defensive situations.
The company has branched out and developed products for personal citizens. Their patented Lightening Strike™ Personal Protection System emits an ear-piercing personal alarm along with a high-intensity flashing strobe light to deter the approach of potential attackers. The system was specifically designed for women, senior citizens, students and other citizens wanting an easy-to-use personal protection system.
Brite-Strike had previously only been available via word-of-mouth, the company website, or a number of high-end catalogs including Frontgate and Herrington. The company recently entered into agreements with several retailers, including BJ’s Wholesale Clubs, Lowes.com and Amazon.com, to carry the Brite-Strike products.
According to its founders, “Every day that we go on duty, we use and rely on the same lights that we sell to our customers”. What a great statement on their confidence in their product. Brite-Strike builds products “designed by police officers for police officers”.
